Translation Services:

What is Translation?

A translation is a word-for-word representation of text or speech that has been changed from one language to another. It is not the same as an Evaluation. We require certified English translations of all foreign-language documents.

If your documents were not originally issued in English, you can either pay for our translation service or you can provide a certified, professional translation, as outlined below.

Please note: In general, we can accept the following types of third-party translations:

(1) - Translations completed in the U.S., issued by a member of the American Translators Association (https://www.atanet.org/)

(2) - Certified translations done by the institution issuing your documents (school, university, ministry, etc.), accompanied by a copy of the original-language document(s)

(3) - Certified, professional translations completed abroad

All third-party translations are subject to review for approval.

Verification Services:
Verification

For the initial evaluation, you are only required to submit scans of your personal copies of your official transcripts. If you are admitted, you will be asked to have your school/university send SpanTran your official documents directly to our office via mail or email.

Evaluation Services

Please select a Course Analysis evaluation if you completed a semester or more of study at a university in your home country.

Delivery

Your evaluation will be completed and sent to the admissions office at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. You will not receive a copy of your evaluation.

Document Upload

SpanTran needs to see your own personal copies of your final signed/stamped academic documents issued by your university. Please upload the documents you need evaluated, such as your transcripts, marksheets, and diplomas/degree certificates. Please also upload any government-issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or national identification card.
