Translation of Documents
We offer certified translation and notary services for most languages and we're a proud member of the American Translators Association. Translation costs vary by language and density of text, so if you're applying for an evaluation, we'll provide a translation quote after you submit your application and documents. You can also request a separate translation-only service if you don't need an academic evaluation. More information about SpanTran's translation services can be found here.
Verification of Documents
Verification and Evaluation are two different services, but they are both very important. Verification is the process we use to authenticate your documents and check against fraud. Evaluation is the process we use to equate your studies to the U.S. educational system. We offer two options for document verification. First, you can try to contact your previous foreign institutions and request them to mail or email your official academic documents directly to SpanTran. If that is not possible, don't worry. In most cases, you can choose to use SpanTran's Document Verification Service (DVS) instead. We will then attempt to contact your previous institutions to verify the scanned documents that you provided to SpanTran. DVS is not a document retrieval service. You must provide a clear scan or picture copy of your official foreign academic documents in order to use DVS. Other materials may be required. Verification rates vary by country and sometimes by institution. Here are the costs:
